▸ Do I need an account to play?
No. There is no sign-up, no password and no email. You choose a display name once so friends can recognise you on a leaderboard, and the game remembers it on your device.
▸ How is the guess budget calculated?
It is the number of meaningful characters in the title multiplied by two, capped at a maximum of 26 guesses. Spaces and punctuation are visible from the start and never count against you.
▸ What happens if I guess the same letter twice?
Nothing bad. Repeated characters are rejected with a small shake and do not consume a guess.
▸ Can I type the whole title instead?
Yes. The solve bar accepts the full title at any moment. A correct solve banks your remaining time and unused guesses. A wrong solve costs ten seconds and resets your streak.
▸ Where do the movies come from?
The library holds over two thousand titles released between 1951 and 2023 across Hollywood, Bollywood and Tollywood, with hints built from genre, year, cast, director and a spoiler-free plot line.
▸ How do multiplayer rooms work?
Create a room, then share the invite link or the five-character room code. Everyone in the room plays the same titles in the same order, and the room leaderboard updates live as scores change.
▸ Can I change my display name later?
Yes. Tap your name anywhere it appears — on the home screen, in a room, or during a game — and type a new one. Rooms you are in update immediately.
▸ Is the game free?
Completely. It is funded by advertising placed outside the play area, never over the tiles or the keyboard.
▸ Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The board, keyboard and leaderboard all adapt to small screens, and the on-screen keyboard is built for thumbs.
