Scoring explained: how points are actually calculated

Time, unused guesses, hints and streaks all move your score. Here is the exact formula.

Scores are deliberately transparent so that a good round always feels earned rather than random.

The formula

A solved round starts at 200 points. You add six points per second left on the clock and ten points per unused guess. Each revealed hint costs 25 points, and every consecutive solve adds a 40 point streak bonus. A solved round never scores below 50.

A lost round scores nothing and resets your streak to zero.

What that rewards

Speed matters more than perfection on short rounds, while guess efficiency matters more on long titles. Solving the whole title early is almost always the highest scoring move because it banks both the clock and the leftover guesses.
