Hosting a movie night quiz with friends
Room codes, invite links and a few house rules that make a group game genuinely competitive.
A private room turns a solo puzzle into a race. Everyone in the room gets the same titles in the same order, so the leaderboard measures speed and nerve rather than luck.
Set the room up first
Create the room, pick a category and round length, then share the invite link. Friends join straight from the link — no account, no install. They pick a display name once and the app remembers it.
House rules worth trying
Short rounds of sixty seconds keep the energy up. A themed category, such as a single decade or genre, stops one film buff from running away with it. And a no-hints round is a great tie breaker.
Keep the board visible
Scores update live for everyone in the room while the round is still running, which is exactly when a comeback feels most dramatic.
